The screw-in jacket thermocouple with connection head in form J is suitable for temperature measurement in liquid and gaseous media thanks to the Seebeck effect. The vibration-proof construction guarantees a long service life. The good heat transfer between the jacket and the thermocouple enables short response times and high measuring accuracy. Due to its properties, the jacket thermocouple is therefore often used in chemical plants, power plants, pipelines, in engine construction and on test benches. The single thermocouple 1x NiCr-Ni K according to DIN EN 60584 (class 2) is designed for temperatures from -200 to +1200 ° C. The protective tube is made of Inconel 2.4816. The connection head is made of die-cast aluminum and has an M16 x 1.5 cable gland. The protective tube dimensions are 6 x 300 mm. The smallest bending radius is 5 × the outer diameter. A screw connection made of stainless steel 1.4571 with a G 1/2 inch thread serves as the process connection. The thermocouple is insulated from the jacket as standard.
