The plug-in resistance thermometer in duct design enables temperature measurements in many areas of air conditioning technology due to the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance of its built-in platinum sensor and the special housing design. The housing with protection class IP65 is made of PC plastic and is designed for temperatures from -30 to +80 ° C. The protective tube is made of stainless steel 1.4571 and has the dimensions 6 x 150 mm. The resistance thermometer is therefore preferably used in air conditioning technology for temperature measurements in air ducts. The resistance thermometer according to DIN EN 60751 (class B) is designed as 1 x Pt100 in a two-wire circuit. The temperature measuring range is -50 to +200 ° C. The measuring tip is stepped down from approx. 12 mm to 3.3 mm and thus ensures faster response times.
