The level probe is used for continuous, hydrostatic level measurement in liquids. Filling heights of up to 2.50 mWS (water column) can be achieved in ventilated tanks. When the level probe is immersed in a liquid, a liquid column is formed over it. This increases with increasing immersion depth and, with its weight, creates a hydrostatic pressure on the measuring system. The measured pressure is transmitted as a standard signal. The signal is linearly proportional to the rising liquid column. With the help of the protective hose, air pressure fluctuations are automatically compensated and the ambient pressure is taken into account. The standardized, constructive structure and continuous optimization in the manufacturing process lead to an excellent price-performance ratio of the level probe. The centerpiece of the level probe is a piezoresistive measuring cell, which is characterized by a high overload resistance and is particularly reliable and temperature-resistant. The level probe is used in rainwater cisterns, in heating oil and diesel tanks and in gray water recycling. The measurement accuracy is 0.3%. The medium temperature range is from 0 to 50 ° C.
