The smooth round copper sensor has a diameter of 6 mm and a sensor length of approx. 87 mm. The thermostat's long-distance line is also made of copper and rolled up inside the housing when it is delivered. Considering a bending radius of 5 mm, the long-distance line can be led out of the housing as required and laid flexibly. The maximum permissible ambient temperature on the housing (protection class IP54) is 80 ° C. The housing is fastened directly to the lower part of the housing as a wall mount or with the help of a tensioning strap on a pipe. With the help of a screwdriver, the desired switch-off temperature can be easily set on a scale after removing the housing cover. The set switch-off temperature can be viewed at any time through a viewing window in the housing cover. The temperature monitor is characterized by a high switching point accuracy of +/- 3% in the upper third of the scale. The built-in temperature compensation reduces ambient temperature influences on the switch head to a minimum. A decisive advantage is that no additional auxiliary energy is required for temperature measurement. The electrical connection is made using PushIn © terminals, which significantly reduces installation time compared to conventional screw connections. The maximum permissible switching capacity is AC 230 volts / 16 A. The thermostat has a switching difference (hysteresis) of approx. 3 K and automatically switches back to its original state when the switch-off temperature falls below this value. The temperature monitor can be used very flexibly and is used both in building automation and in heating, air conditioning and ventilation technology. Other areas of application are the plastics industry, apparatus and machine construction, furnace construction and temperature monitoring in laboratory and climatic cabinets. The device is approved according to DIN EN 14597 and has an EAC approval.
