The smooth round copper sensors have a diameter of 6 mm. The sensor length of the temperature controller is approx. 87 mm, that of the safety temperature monitor is approx. 66 mm. The long-distance cables are also made of copper and rolled up inside the housing upon delivery. Taking into account a bending radius of 5 mm, the cables can be led out of the housing as required and laid flexibly. The maximum permissible ambient temperature on the housing (protection class IP54) is 80 ° C. The housing is attached directly to the lower part of the housing as a wall mount. The desired switch-off temperature of the temperature controller can be easily set on a scale using a setpoint adjuster. The temperature of the safety temperature monitor can be set on a scale using a screwdriver after removing the housing cover. The set temperature is visible at all times through a viewing window in the housing cover. The temperature controller is characterized by a high switching point accuracy of +/- 3% in the upper third of the scale, the safety temperature monitor has a switching point accuracy of + 0 / -5 K in the upper half of the scale. The built-in temperature compensation reduces ambient temperature influences on the switch head to a minimum. A decisive advantage is that no additional auxiliary energy is required for temperature measurement. The electrical connection is made using PushIn © terminals, which significantly reduces installation time compared to conventional screw connections. The maximum permissible switching capacity is AC 230 volts / 16 A. The temperature controller has a switching difference (hysteresis) of approx. 3 K, the safety temperature monitor approx. 10 K. Both systems automatically switch back to their original state when the switch-off temperature falls below this value . When the temperature at the sensor of the safety temperature monitor drops below -20 ° C, the circuit between terminal 1 and terminal 2 opens, but closes again automatically when the temperature rises. If the measuring system is destroyed, the circuit of the safety temperature monitor is opened permanently, the switch contact is then in a neutral position. The thermostat can be used very flexibly and is used both in building automation and in heating, air conditioning and ventilation technology.
